Answers to: How to make Docky appear over other windowshttp://linuxexchange.org/questions/1245/how-to-make-docky-appear-over-other-windows
I have Docky in autohide mode. The problem is that if a window is in the area where docky is supposed to pop up, like say if a window is maximized and takes up the whole screen, docky will appear under it, and it will be covered. How can Docky be made to appear above other windows?
enWed, 03 Nov 2010 03:46:11 -0400Answer by someone specialhttp://linuxexchange.org/questions/1245/how-to-make-docky-appear-over-other-windows/1417
It is supposed to do this automatically, however it appears that sometimes this does not happen. Restarting Docky always fixes the problem for me. It's a bug that is difficult to isolate, and any assistance in reproducing it would be appreciated.
someone specialWed, 03 Nov 2010 03:46:11 -0400http://linuxexchange.org/questions/1245/how-to-make-docky-appear-over-other-windows/1417Answer by indienickhttp://linuxexchange.org/questions/1245/how-to-make-docky-appear-over-other-windows/1247
It doesn't seem to be an option. I just use the "Window Dodge" setting for hiding Docky. Another alternative is to check out the project's Wiki and mess about with some of the GConf settings, but like I said, I couldn't find anything that lets you position Docky above all other windows.

http://wiki.go-docky.com/index.php?title=GConf_Settings
indienickThu, 19 Aug 2010 15:45:25 -0400http://linuxexchange.org/questions/1245/how-to-make-docky-appear-over-other-windows/1247
