Answers to: Mouse pointer gets trapped in game windowshttp://linuxexchange.org/questions/565/mouse-pointer-gets-trapped-in-game-windows
I think this is an SDL "feature". I am playing a game in a window, I receive an instant message, pause, want to reply, but cannot because all my keypresses are handled by the game and then discarded, so no alt+tab, and the mouse pointer cannot leave the game window. Is there a way to take the focus away from those SDL windows?
enTue, 17 Apr 2012 22:56:40 -0400Answer by peteriushttp://linuxexchange.org/questions/565/mouse-pointer-gets-trapped-in-game-windows/2839
Could also be a bug in the game.
peteriusTue, 17 Apr 2012 22:56:40 -0400http://linuxexchange.org/questions/565/mouse-pointer-gets-trapped-in-game-windows/2839Comment by rfelsburg on atilla's questionhttp://linuxexchange.org/questions/565/mouse-pointer-gets-trapped-in-game-windows#2611
Please accept an answer, or provide more details on what you're looking for.
rfelsburgTue, 14 Jun 2011 11:45:16 -0400http://linuxexchange.org/questions/565/mouse-pointer-gets-trapped-in-game-windows#2611Answer by smeezekittyhttp://linuxexchange.org/questions/565/mouse-pointer-gets-trapped-in-game-windows/572
ALT+TAB should do it. If not report a bug to the SDL team.
smeezekittyFri, 14 May 2010 00:53:08 -0400http://linuxexchange.org/questions/565/mouse-pointer-gets-trapped-in-game-windows/572
