And I am working in a hosting company as a fresher. I am getting many tickets of 500 Internal Server Error. As a server admin, how do I check it for correct the issue ? Or where to check this since I am in a shared server I cannot make any changes to the major apache configuration files. Because of some technical complications in the way TCP/IP and HTTP work, each Apache process currently wastes a lot of time "lingering" on client connections, after the page has been generated and sent. Lingerd takes over this job, leaving the Apache process immediately free to handle a new connection. As a result, Lingerd makes it possible to serve the same load using considerably fewer Apache processes. However, only one of the addresses is properly responding with it's web content. The other address simply says that the page can not be found.

So, my first and most important question is:

Is it possible for a single 2-node cluster to have 2 floating IP addresses that will each server their own web content, such as www.example.com and www.example2.com?

I have been searching for documentation and answers online for days, to no resolve.

Thanks!
Linville79Tue, 13 Apr 2010 00:30:46 -0400http://linuxexchange.org/questions/14/rhel5-2-node-apache-cluster-wmultiple-floating-ipsrhelapache-httpdcluster
