Does exist a tool you can use to record the mouse movement and the keyboard keystrokes and replay the same sequence ?

This tool must be available on linux :-)
And it would be great if I could install it with yum.

I don't want to record a screen cast, I want something that you can re-use (a kind of visual script)

Netbook trackpad issue with Ubuntu

My netbook came in today and the first thing I did was get Ubuntu set up. I started out using a USB mouse so I didn't notice this issue right away. However, I've noticed that the trackpad has an issue. If you left click and attempt to drag an item the cursor gets crazy and doesn't do what you'd expect. I'm not sure if it's an issue specific to my netbook (HP Mini 210), Ubuntu for netbooks, or the combination of the two. Has anyone seen anything like this before?

Compiz/Gnome doesn't display XCursor

I've got Compiz working with Gnome on Arch nicely, except for one small thing - Compiz doesn't pick up on the cursor theme I've picked in Gnome-Appearance-Properties, instead defaulting to the ugly basic black cursor (the one with the stopwatch for busy).

Most of the GTK apps I use pick up on the main selection, but for the most part, I'm putting up with this ugly black one, and I want to fix it so Compiz uses the same cursor theme as Gnome is.

Mouse pointer gets trapped in game windows

I think this is an SDL "feature". I am playing a game in a window, I receive an instant message, pause, want to reply, but cannot because all my keypresses are handled by the game and then discarded, so no alt+tab, and the mouse pointer cannot leave the game window. Is there a way to take the focus away from those SDL windows?
