Memory allocation problem in a c++ problem in Linux

Hello, My OS is Ubuntu 9.04 I have a problem to allocate more then 128k continues memory and I understood that this is a OS limitation. Do you know how to change this limitation? Someone told me to look for "Memory allocation grub boot" in google but I didn't find the answer there. Thank you Hadas

Please explain what you mean with "allocate more then 128k continues memory", preferably with some sample code exhibiting the issue.
