I have two questions about Rhythmbox: 1. If I want to move from GPodder, How can I make RB become aware of already downloaded episodes so that it will not try/ask for redownloading them? 2. How can I configure RB Podcast to be downloading Many episodes per once than current where it download only one episode only per time? Thanks!

Edit: Distro: Ubuntu 10.04

Your question is fine, but is specific to a certain music player. Since there are so many different music players (e.g. Amarok, Banshee, Deadbeef, XMMS, Audacious, Exaile,...), only people who use Rythmbox will be able to help you. Although I would not normally redirect you, you might have more luck on the ubuntu forums, since rythmbox was the default music player for ubuntu for a long time.
