In Gnome 2, you could use the "Main Menu" applet ( aka "alacarte" ) and just uncheck any menu item / shortcut to an program which you didn't want displayed in the menu ( and thus it wasn't accessible to the user that way either )..... so my question is, how do you do the same think in KDE? I have items showing up in the menu that I don't want to delete/remove, merely disable so they no longer show up in amy menu listing. asked 20 Mar '12, 13:30 Ron ♦ |
Have you tried kmenuedit? I don't know whether it supports disabling items. Maybe just removing. answered 16 Apr '12, 12:45 gmartin |
