how to install old kernel ?

0	Hello just compile the old kernel from source then set the old kernel as default in grub.conf or menu.lst link answered 06 Oct '12, 06:13 Arash 11●1 accept rate: 0%

Download new kernel source code
Go to the directory
Do a make menuconfig if you want make it customized by enabling/disabling the modules you need
make
make modules
make modules_install (should be root user)
make install

After completing this command execution, menu.lst is getting updated . Then reboot the system The system will boot with new kernel
