Modifying trace file format

0	i m working with ns2.35 in fedora ver. 16. i want to make changes to the trace file generated. i modified the cmu-trace.cc and the .h file but tat dint reflect in the trace file. where do i need to make the corresponding changes? fedora-12 asked 05 Mar '13, 03:44 Pavith 11●2 accept rate: 0%

From my understanding, if you're going to modify those files, to modify the format, you'd have to recompile so that it builds those changes in.

recompile??? if u mean

"cd /home/ns-allinone-2.35/ns-2.35
make clean make all"

as recompiling..

i have done that already.. i tried making a lot of changes to all that r being printed n recompiled.. but no change in output trace file..
