I have tried to broadcast my self using http://twitcam.com or http://livestream.com but can't get the video to work. Sound works just fine. Flash asks I want to allow the site to access my camera and microphone but most of the times is impossible to press the "allow" button, and when I get to pressed it, only the sound gets broadcasted and a message saying "the Camera is in use" (but is not) appears where my camera's feed should be displayed. Detailed information about the problem can be found here. I have seen this problem using Firefox 3.6 and Chrome 5.0.375.55 beta. According to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ I have Adobe Flash Player version 10,0,45,2 installed. The inability to click the allow button is a long-standing problem. The workaround is to set Flash to always allow the site(s) you want to use the camera on using the following preference interface: http://macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager02.html The camera not working is a different issue altogether. Does it work in other applications, such as wxcam or Cheese? The output of the lsusb command may also be usfull in figuring out what is going on. The camera works fine in Cheese and Skype. I updated the question content with the output of lsusb and dmesg. Thanks!
