That will be a good start at seeing where your problems may lie. http://www.linux-on-laptops.com/acer.html Then there's THIS from the OpenSuse site It's for 11.1 which had KDE 3.5: http://en.opensuse.org/OpenSUSE_on_the_Aspire_One Actually, I just did a search on dogpile.com for "opensuse acer aspire one" and came back with a whole of of links: Good Luck. http://en.opensuse.org/Acer_Aspire_One talks about a netinstall. I want to do it from a 8GB USB with full Opensuse 10.3 or 11.0 . All of the links that come up just mention tons of issues that installing Opensuse on the machine brings along. I'm currently using Ubuntu Netbook remix and it just installs all hardware. I'm a Suse user and hence the choice.
