Does exist a mouse-keybord recorder ?

Does exist a tool you can use to record the mouse movement and the keyboard keystrokes and replay the same sequence ?

This tool must be available on linux :-)
And it would be great if I could install it with yum.

I don't want to record a screen cast, I want something that you can re-use (a kind of visual script)

I don't have enough reputation to create new tags :-(

I found some solutions via Google, just search for "Macro recorder Linux".

XMacro seems a pretty good application for this. It is packaged for Ubuntu and for OpenSuse, propably for Fedora, too.

1	I found gnee, a macro recording software for all X systems. It's packaged for Ubuntu and several other Linux OS. The Ubuntu package is somewhat old (Intrepid Ibex, 8.10, about 2 years old) but hopefully, it works. link answered 28 Jul '10, 11:49 guerda 553●3●5●15 accept rate: 38%
