Hello,

I am facing issue in DNSMasq with Ubuntu Client. Here is the My setup Details.

I have Configured DNSMasq as DHCP + DNSMasq with tftp and Pxe boot enable ,My Client is also getting DHCP IP on booting and OS is loading without error.

but the issue is when I cat /etc/network/interfaces it shows auto eth0 iface eth0 manual instead of dhcp , also in Network-Gui when I try to edit my etho in the client,it showing ifupdown(eth0) it is not allowing me to change the IP , Edit button is disable.

I search so many post but did not get the solution, My PXE image does not have this Entry , I am using Ubuntu 10.4 as server and Ubuntu 9.10 in client.

It is actually supposed to be manual because you're already getting the ip when Ubuntu boots up to get files from NFS. Manual will keep the ip you had when you boot.
