I run Debian lenny amd64, video card ATI x1250 on Catalyst 9.2.

Kernel: 2.6.26 Wine version : 1.1.42

When i try to launch NFS Most Wanted v.1.3 I get error:

$ wine "/home/media/nfs_be/speed.exe"
fixme:imm:ImmDisableIME (0): stub
fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x32f81c,0x00000000), stub!
fixme:d3d:debug_d3dformat Unrecognized 909198916 (as fourcc: DF16) WINED3DFORMAT!
fixme:d3d:getFormatDescEntry Can't find format unrecognized(909198916) in the format lookup table

err:seh:raise_exception Unhandled exception code 80000100 flags 1 addr 0x7eddcdd3

Any ideas? In winecfg i enabled "allow DirectX to hold mouse in it's window" and "emulate virtual desktop"

The currently available development release of wine is 1.3.0. Since there are only minor bug reports for that version, an update is advisable.

Furthermore, always take a look at the AppDB at WineHQ. Most often you find installation instructions and test results, as well as help for specific problems there.
