How to install accounting software in Linux 10.04 the accounting software called tally An Indian software asked 02 Nov '10, 11:06 Sandy rfelsburg ♦ |
with the software application "wine." One can run windows software in Linux. Check from winehq.org for more information and to download the application. Also for the list of compatible applications. I do not yet know of a linux version of Tally. Again you can download the wine form the repositories of the linux distro you're using. answered 02 Nov '10, 11:45 edzams |
If you need the Tally software, use WINE and install it into that so you can run Windows software on Linux (within WINE); but ideally, if you are just looking for any accounting software, I highly suggest using a Linux-native accounting software like HomeBank, OpenQuickBooks, GnuCash, etc. answered 08 Nov '10, 21:51 Ron ♦ |
