How to activate loaded but inactive Synaptics touchpad drivers in Puppy Slacko 5.3?

Hi, when I try to conf my touchpad settings I get an annoying loud beep ("Synapticsure apprecs touchpad drivers not loaded"). I found the drivers with pfind but don't know how to activate them? I appreciate any help! Real Newbie here. :-) Blue
