Hello, I configured vnc server that is working on local host properly but i am not able to take remote desktop in another network machine. While pint to systems are givingproper reply.

vi /etc/sysconfig/vncserver

find the last line and remove "-localhost"

Assign the username & password to vnc server then try it.

I would double check your own port forwarding.. be sure you possess the proper VPN port forwarding to some static LAN IP of the VNC server.

VNC customer from over the internet.. make certain you're linking towards the WAN IP address of the router.

In order to check.. the actual ISP does not have any portal appliance "modem" which also operating NAT, could it be? Quite simply.. if you're positive your own WRT obtains the public IP address within the WAN interface?

VNC server allowed in Windows firewall, which can be allowed if you switch off Symantsucks fire wall.
