How do you uninstall Grub from a dual system with Vista and Mepis linux (Toshiba Satellite)?

  1. Boot your box with Windows Vista Boot Disk.
  2. Select the repair tools.
  3. Select the console mode(Command Prompt).
  4. Type this in the console. bootrec /fixmbr bootrec /fixboot

If you don't have a Windows Boot disc, you can do it through lilo:

sudo aptitude install lilo mbr
lilo -M /dev/sda mbr

Note: Change "sda" to your boot drive.
