Under what license do users make their contributions on LE?

On StackExchange they use:

user contributions licensed under cc by-sa 3.0 with attribution required

At this time we don't have an explicit license for user contributions. If it's something the community is interested in, we'd be happy to look into it further.

I guess it is important to define these legalese. Following into the footsteps of StackExchange or Wikipedia would seem sensible to me..

I think the type of site has a large impact on that. We already use CC by-sa at the LQ Wiki (and have for over a decade). There are pros and cons to adding a mandated license in this context.
