Can anyone point me to a printer that prints to Disk running on Linux? Our LUG makes up a couple hundred CDs a year and we would like to move up to something that looks more professional than the press on labels, but won't empty the treasury. Possible? |
I have a lightscribe drive, it is compatible with Linux although I have never tried it out. They are not that expensive to buy I don't think. Maybe that would be along the lines of what your looking for? Thanks - what we are looking for is a color printer. We do a lot with Mint. I have a lightscribe that I have never tried in that mode. We want our logo (colorful) and distribution colors on the labels.

your question is not totally clear... could you clarify further?
So for clarification, you're talking about printing to the top of a cd/dvd and not to the hard disk?
Are you looking for something akin to a full color label printer for linux?
What version of linux, and what environment are you using this in. KDE, Gnome, cli?
