I have been trying to find a comprehensive and complete Single Sign On (SAML 2.0) Step-by-Step guide for Google Apps integration from Ubuntu 10.04 LTS or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5. There is NO guide out there for Education departments that move to Google Apps and configure SSO on Linux. Maybe this site will be useful to you, it show the steps necessary to add two factor authentication on CentOS. With a little work put in by yourself you can easily adapt it for Debian/Ubuntu, others. HowToForge Kind regards, Eric |

Such as exactly what you are trying to integrate? Are you set on SAML 2.0?

I want to enable a SSO SAML 2.0 auth using Apache to authenticate against active directory from a RHEL 5.5 server for Google Apps. It is done very often in the education space but the documentation is kind of convoluted.
