help me guys !

my host adapter of virtual box (xp)is not communicating to my RHEL5.0 (eth0) in virtual box..

suggest all settings required 4 it!! i have assigned ip on eth0 = 192.168.1.100, on host adapter client (xp) -192.168.1.1. although its not pinging each other.

Please include some more info.

Such as is it all traffic not connecting, does the host name resolve. Have you changed anything.

Is the XP box the virtual machine, running on a physical red hat server?

Can you please explain your self a bit more clearly, and put some thought into explaining your problem.

Hiiiii

Please change your virtual box network settings

Select virtual box network type "host Only" ( There Should be 4 type of network settings option in your virtual box network setting)
