I am prohibited from creating a tag because I am a new user. How many badges or how long must I be on the forum to create a tag? After rejecting the new tag the system refused to accept my post without a tag - and every tag was rejected because I was new. So I canceled. My reputation is about to go down in flames. |

You must have 250 reputation to create new tags. Otherwise, you will have to simply use existing ones. See the faq for more information: http://linuxexchange.org/faq argh, I just came across the same exact problem in my last question...
