Debian has a big software repository, so you may want to have a look on their "Games" category.

If you ask for personal recommendations about "good games", it depends on the genres you like and who you ask. If you want racing in 3D environment, you may like TORCS and TuxRacer. XMoto is a 2D obstacle race with a huge user-submitted level repository. If you want good puzzle collection, you should try not only games coming with KDE and Gnome, but also SGT Puzzles. Among Real-Time Strategies, there is quite original Globulation2.
